Located in the cultural and leisure hub of Reading is Forbury Place. Recently awarded ‘Best Development Outside of London’, No.1 Forbury Place was phase one of the development, totalling 185,000 sqft. Phase two of the project, No.3 Forbury Place, offers an additional 88,909 sqft of space.
Strata Tiles worked closely with the architect to source a natural stone product that could be cut to numerous large format sizes including 100x150cm and 50x150cm. Strata Tiles took the architect and the main contractor to the factory where the natural stone could be specially selected as per the visual specifications and slip resistance requirements desired.
In total over 2000 sqm of Strata Natural Stone (DK 0026) honed tiles were laid throughout the reception and lift lobby areas over both phase one and phase two of the Forbury Place Development.
