Set in the heart of Soho, on Shaftesbury Avenue, amongst the hustle and bustle of Central London is a recent project “The Bank of East Asia”.
Strata tiles is proud to have supplied this prestigious project with both large format 120 x 120cm natural stone floor tiles and a specially fabricated and cut to size staircase spanning two flights. The staircase alone contained 40 no treads and risers as well as landings. Each tread and landing was specially fabricated to contain 2no brass inserts to provide a slip resistant step tread detail and was hand finished by our fabrication team to give an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
Each flight of stairs was factory sealed and advice on substrate and project preparation was given throughout by our technical team.
The material used on this site was our Strata Natural stone SNSL026 honed finish limestone, selected by the client and architect team for its natural beauty and variation in pattern.
