COVID-19 Update

14th April update
We have implemented new safe working practices in our operational and sales support teams to contain the spread of Covid19 and continue to work hard to support our clients. With the news today that Italian and Spanish factories are back manufacturing after their lock downs, we are fully ready to support your architectural tile needs.

Our remote working client support team are ready to take calls on 0116 276 2532 or via email on info@parkside.co.uk. We will direct all enquiries to the right person to support you – if that’s about an existing order, a specification change or a new specification project.

Our samples service remains fully operational with over 2,500 sample lines in stock, all ready to be sent to an address of your choice (work or home) in 48-72 hours. We can also put together bespoke sample boxes – just email us on info@parkside.co.uk with your 10 favourite tile collections.

Our Group logistics operation and logistics delivery partners continue to perform to excellent service standards and we have over half a million m2 of stock available in our main warehouse for delivery.

To ensure the safety of our clients and teams, our four Design Studios remain closed.

Our staff safety and the wellbeing of all our contacts and their families remains the priority so we will continue to monitor the government guidance, the needs of our clients and the construction industry changes and respond accordingly.

23rd March update
The Italian Government has decided to close all factories from 25th March for what is thought to be a fortnight as they try to hold back the Coronavirus. This means we should expect some supply challenges out of Italy in the coming 2-3 weeks, although with our scale and stock holding we are working hard to minimise this for our clients. If you have any concerns please contact the Parkside central support office on 0116 276 2532, email us or speak to your regular sales contact. We’ll keep you updated through this news story and our social media channels.

19th March update
We continue to monitor the situation and are working closely with our supply chain to minimise the potential impact. At present, products sourced from Italy may have a 7 day delay but it depends on the products and delivery method involved.

Our Clerkenwell and Leicester Design Studios are now closed. Our Cotswolds and Chelsea Design Studios are open by appointment, please get in touch before you visit.

Our samples service is currently operating as normal with next working day UK delivery on orders placed before 1pm. Browse our wide range of tile collections and order free samples that can be delivered to your work or home.

We have thousands of m2 of architectural floor and wall tiles stocked in the UK as well as grouts, adhesives and trims for immediate call off to site. If you are having supply issues with tiles then please get in touch.

13th March update
Covid-19 is now spreading throughout the UK although the present risk is still considered moderate in comparison to other European countries.

We do not currently have any issues with supply chain, and we are monitoring the situation and actively working with suppliers. We will continue to monitor this and update you should there be any impact.

We take our responsibilities to our colleagues, customers and suppliers seriously. Our preventative measures include a travel ban for colleagues, the provision of regular guidance and updates on the latest situation, reminders of best practice in good hygiene and communicating with colleagues regarding any actions they should take should they present with symptoms.

We are currently considering visits from suppliers on a case-by-case basis.

We will endeavour to keep you updated, based on the latest advice, around any changes to our supply chain or how we operate the business.
