The Piccolino restaurant family spans the length of the country, with multiple locations in Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and London, and sites in Surrey, Bristol and Birmingham.
The specification of finishes is crucial for setting the right tone of quality for every location. For the restaurant family’s latest site, Piccolino Wilsmslow, 4D Studio has once again worked with Parkside.
This time, the restaurant’s floor is the first Parkside project to feature Ethical Stone Terrazzo. 4D Studio visited our Leicester studio to select finishes. They chose Devon Pink for its distinctive look and character and the story of the Manchester made floor slabs.
This stone from Dartmoor was made famous by the marble polishers of Torquay, and features in many of the county’s churches and grand houses, as well as the bathrooms of the London Hilton and the foyer of the Post Office Tower. In Ethical Stone Terrazzo the stone chips are combined with a lower carbon alternative to OPC.
The project is the third Piccolino location that has seen Parkside work with 4D Studio.
